The Government are due to issue the revised Planning Policy framework today that George Osbourne has called the “biggest reduction in business red tape ever undertaken”.
It has been confirmed that there will still be adequate protection given to land within the ‘Green Belt’ or ‘Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty’.
It is hoped that the new policy will create an increase in the number of houses to tackle the shortage, as well as making life easier for businesses who currently spend large amounts of time and money changing the use of a building or extend an existing building.
